Do I need a fishing license to come on a trip?
NO...you do not need to buy a fishing license! Capt. Zack is nice enough to purchase an annual license that covers the entire boat! Feel free to spend your fishing license savings on official Liquid Trails merchandise!!
Is the trip price per person or per charter?
The prices are per charter as stated in the trip descriptions. There are no individual prices. I’ll leave the individual splits up to you!
Can the kids come along?
Yes! Bring the kids. Capt. Zack provides a bow that most kids can shoot, allowing them to get in on the action. If they don’t want to shoot, Capt. Zack will setup a bucket and give them a net to fill it up with critters. Crabs, starfish, minnows, and needle fish keep the kids busy all night!
Can we bowfish during the day?
The bowfishing is more active at night, but can be done during the day. Check out the day time combo trip if you want to bowfish during daylight hours!
Am I going to get eaten alive by insects?
No, thanks to our sea breeze, but certain areas inshore might have some pesky insects. I have a can of insect repellant on board, but feel free to bring some of your own. If bugs are an issue in a particular area we plan on fishing, Capt. Zack will give you a heads up beforehand!
Can we eat the fish we shoot or catch?
Yes indeed. Capt. Zack will clean all the wanted fish and bag them up for you. Flounder, Sheepshead, Mullet, Trout, Redfish and even the Stingrays are good eating.
Can I bring my own bow?
Sure. If you have a bow or rod you'd like to use...bring it! I don’t want to take you out of your comfort zone!
What should we bring/wear?
All bows, rods, drinks, and ice are provided on your charter. Bring some snacks if you like, as well as any particular drinks you might want. Typical wear includes shorts, t-shirts, sandals, or tennis shoes. Feel free to bring some rain gear, but don’t jinx us! Fall trips might require long sleeves and pants. Dress
according to the weather! Also, don’t bring the new shoes your wife or mom bought you….not a good idea with fish hitting the deck!
